My name is Kristi Johnson. I am married with 4 children. I have loved and collected dolls my whole life. I dreamed of making dolls as soon as the kids were grown. However, that plan changed when I became pregnant at 44 years old. Today He is four years old, and it was now or never for my doll artist dreams. Ive collected dolls most of my life. I started with porcelain dolls when I was very young. I have several Cabbage Patch Kids, a small collection of Disney Animators dolls, and several dolls from my childhood.
I’ve been an artist my whole life as well. I’ve done all kinds of art, but sculpting with polymer clay was my forte. In the late 90’s, I sold small fairies and tiny babies on eBay. As the kids multiplied and got older, I found less and less time for my sculpting, but
I still dreamed of one day becoming a doll artist. I have admired reborn dolls for 20 years on eBay and other internet sites, always dreaming of having one. I dreamed of one day sculpting life like dolls, but with reborn
Ling I get to skip that part. I never owned a reborn until I completed my first one. I have found my niche in life! The hardest part is not being able to keep them all! I also love miniatures. I collect any and everything tiny, and I build configuration boxes to display them.
