This is another Berenguer Lily! These babies are so chunky! This time I made him a boy. The doll was donated to me by a very kind customer. She new I loved the Berenguer dolls, and had this one that she couldn't bond with. The doll was straight from the factory with a vinyl torso. I gave him a soft weighted body. I painted his head and limbs and also weighted them. He weighs 7 lbs, 4 oz and is 19.5 inches long! I also replaced the eyes with a higher quality acrylic. When giving him his final varnish, I used a 'soft touch' varnish on his hair to give it a different feel. It worked! I like it!
He will go home with several outfits, blanket and toy!
