Please welcome Realborn Darren Asleep! Made from scans of a real baby you don't get more realistic than this! He is really something special and I spent so much time just looking at him. I keep expecting him to open his eyes! He is preloved by me and me only. He has been very well kept in his nursery.
He was painted by prototype artist Akemi Scantling who does the most amazing realistic babies.
Artist notes: He was painted with Genesis heat set paints in dozens of layers. Taking over 20 hours just to paint and countless others inspecting, baking, and cooling.The baby itself is a vinyl kit with a cloth body. He is weighted with glass beads and fiberfill. I have him stuffed so he has a good flop! Very cuddly! His hair is combi hair which is painted and rooted on top. I have included many pictures for you to see how wonderful this combination is. I do include a magnetic pacifier so care should be taken around small children and individuals with pacemakers.
All pictures are taken with an iPhone XR in natural light. The sky was a little overcast today.
Baby Darren will come home with some outfits of my choosing, his pacifier, COA, and Birth Certificate from the artist. I will box him up nicely, and ship him UPS with signature confirmation.
