Alexis was made with the Alexis kit sculpted by Cassie Brace. He comes with a COA.
His lifelike details were made using Genesis Heat Set Paints. It was baked multiple times to fully cure the paint and details. Then varnished with satin/matte GHSP. Then soft touch air dry varnish. He was assembled using fine glass beads in the arms/legs up to the elbows/knees, then stuffed with poly-fil and closed. He also has pouches of fine glass beads in his CLOTH body and head to add weight in the right areas. Cable ties were used for added strength. He has a magnet inside for his mouth so he can take a magnetic pacifier. He has micro rooted mohair hair and eye lashes. He has some Milia spots He should wear most 0-3 month or 3 month outfits
*** The blank kit had a bump on the hand (all the kits do, I have asked other artists about theirs). I tried to even out the bump by gently cutting the top off, then filing it smooth. This left a tiny hole. (tip of a toothpick sized). I used air dry 3D medium to cover the tiny hole and re-enforce that area. Then continued painting and baking. Paint color is a tad different in that area ***
