There is nothing like a Gudrun Legler kit and Alessia did not disappoint! This is one of her newer kits she recently produced. I took one look at that peaceful sleeping face and had to create her. Alessia is meticulously painted and detailed. Her hands are so realistic it seems as if they will start moving. I spent a lot of time on this one.
She is 20 inches long and weighs 5 pounds 1 ounce. She is painted in heat set paint. She has full vinyl limbs and a cloth body. Her body is filled with premium Angelsoft fill making her very soft and cuddly. Her head needs to be supported when you pick her up.
I rooted her hair in two tones of brown, a lighter shade of brown, and added a slightly darker brown for added highlights. I left her hair just a little bit longer so it can be styled any way you like. Curly, strait, mohawk on top, bows and ribbons all give her a unique look.
I take great pride in my babies using quality materials. Her hair has been double glued. I have added glaze on her flanges which makes her limbs move easily. The pacifier magnet inside of her head is not only glued but has mole skin over it insuring that it stays put. Her paint is sealed with Americana soft touch varnish which makes her vinyl limbs smooth to the touch.
