Kai is a realistically detailed, sleeping baby, made from the limited edition sculpt by Gudrun Legler. S/He has a soft vinyl head and full limbs on a cloth body. S/He’s been painted with multiple transparent layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. S/He has a beautifully textured, fair skin tone with veins, capillaries, blushing, mottling, baby acne, and newborn milia (milk spots). The baby’s eyes, ears, lips, and nose have been delicately glossed. And their skin is sealed, for protection, with a satin-matte varnish mixture reflecting a soft newborn glow.
Kai has Prisma pencil drawn, dark brown eyebrows and baby lanugo. Their lashes and hair have been finely rooted with premium, dark brown, Angora mohair, featuring an adorable double hair whorl.
Kai is weighted to feel like a real baby. S/He is 6.2 lbs, 19 inches long, with a floppy head, and wears NB size clothing. S/He has been filled with fine glass beads, glass sand, and premium poly-fil. S/He can take a magnetic pacifier and has a silicone tummy insert for an added realistic squish.
