Sam is a sleeping, dark-skinned, newborn baby sculpted by Melissa May. He has a soft vinyl head on a MacPherson’s cloth cuddle body. He’s been painted with multiple layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. He has a beautifully textured, dark brown skin tone with veins, blushing, and newborn milia. The baby’s eyes, ears, mouth, and nose have been delicately glossed. And his skin is sealed, for protection, with a satin-matte varnish mixture reflecting a soft newborn glow.
Sam has Prisma pencil drawn black eyebrows and hair. His lashes have been rooted with premium, black, Angora mohair.
Sam is weighted to feel like a real baby. He is 4.2 lbs, 19.5 inches long, with a semi-floppy head, and wears NB size clothing. He has been filled with fine glass beads, glass sand, and premium poly-fil. He can also take a magnetic pacifier.
