Mei Lien is an open edition kit by Ping Lau. She is a larger baby, wearing size 3 to 6 months. She has been given one of my signature "spines" made out of a soft foam tube. This baby actually has two pieces of foam to hold her head in position so if you sit her up her head will be less likely to flop forward. Little Mei Lien has beautiful, black, mono rooted, human hair and her bangs are rooted HP Babylocks mohair in black. She has beautiful, glass, brown eyes and rooted, black, mohair, eyelashes.
This Mei Lien reminds me of an Inuit baby but she also resembles a Chinese baby. She is easy to sit on your hip if you wanted to carry her around and is well weighted at a bit over 7 pounds so not too heavy either. She has a female belly plate that is a little fiddly to get on but as you see in pictures you can manage for posing and I can attach strings if desired to hold it in place better. The human hair had a smell from the processing when it arrived at my house so it has been washed many times and now smells perfumed so if this is something that may bother you then this is probably not the baby for you. When she comes home she will have freshly washed and conditioned hair. Her hair is long enough that you can put little pony tails towards the back and it is very easy to put barrettes and other hair accessories in it.
Mei Lien comes home with her fluffy, blue, blanket and her special, dragon adorned, romper, a pink onesie, her strawberry romper, yellow dress, gold shoes, white socks, and mustard yellow sweater. She will also have some hair accessories, a toothbrush (for hair), hair conditioner (you just add water), a yellow sleeper with a zebra on it and she, of course, brings her zebra doudou (lovey) with her as well. Mei Lien will bring along her magnetic pacifier with its unique stack of magnets that fit inside her mouth so it is more difficult to be knocked off. She could also take a modified pacifier. She is an older, unlimited kit so she does not have a COA but she will come home with a birth certificate and other paperwork, a personal letter from me and a special gift.
