Hi I have a vintage reborn for a good price. She is Sunshine by Marita Winters. She was reborn by Judith 19 from a doll forum.
I have had her for a long time and she has been packed away most of the time in a box. She has the cutest little smile. She is 18 inches long and wears preemie clothing. She is 3 lbs 4 ounces. I haven't opened her body to see what was used to weight her with but when she was reborn the glass beads weren't a thing so I am pretty sure it wasn't them. Her eye lashes are rooted wispy. I listed her as a boo boo baby because she does have a small area on the back of her head that is bald but her rooted hair is so light in color it isn't very noticeable and her and her clothes and things she will come with from the original artist have been in storage so long they have a slight smell. It is not from smoking just from long term storage. She was stored with a floral banner that was used on my Mother's casket laying on top of her box and the smell seems to be from it. The smell is exactly like a floral flower spray. I am working on getting the smell out. I put linen scented dryer sheets in her box to see if it would help. It is not an overwhelming scent but I wanted to let you know it was there as of now. She was painted with Genesis Heat set paints. She would make a great gift for an older child since she is affordable and fairly light weight. She will come home to you with the outfits she has on in the photos and some goodies that the artist sent with her plus an adorable photo of her from the artist.
