This is Rabbit, a 36 inch doll that I painted for MacPhersons. She is a "ball Jointed doll" her ball joint is in her neck. She is made of a firm (hard) vinyl. She has a half torso, and has 3/4 limbs attached to a sitting body cloth body that is weighted,
Rabbit has a vintage blond wig with some subtle blue high lights that is not removable. It can be styled. In the photos she has a little fall on top for photos only. She will not come with bun on the top of her head. .
She is wearing vintage tap shoes that I distressed. Her costume size is 12-24 months depending on brand and style.
Her costume and top hats will be included she has two hats in different sizes.
These sculpts are new and super fun to paint and costume. I painted this doll using profession acrylic paint in a painting style called verdaccio. I wanted to try something different. I love the effect but it wasn't a practical choice for a ball jointed neck. The neck joint rubs against the paint and exposes the under painting. I think it goes with the style of painting but it wasn't intentional so I adjusted the price.
Her photos were taken in natural light but many of them are filtered because they were used for advertising. I included both natural and filtered photos.
THIS IS AN ART DOLL AND WAS NOT PAINTED FOR REALISM OR SOFTNESS. This doll is not meant to be a plaything for a child and heavy interaction will result in obvious wear and tear. This doll is painted with profession acrylic paint.
Her skin is very fair, almost white, with dark underpainting. Her eyes are a pretty blue, her lashes are dark brown.
This is a doll meant for someone who collects the unusual.

Real Reborns are crafted one at a time by a reborn artist. What makes these babies amazing and different from a store bought (mass manufactured) doll is that each one is unique and has perfect imperfections. (If a baby does have imperfections that were not intentional the price will reflect that, if I feel it is something that may need to be disclosed we will do that in our description). The goal is for every baby to be unique in its own way, no other baby will be exactly like it.
Please note that I am a deep painter, somewhere on the spectrum of high color. I adore playing with color.
The sculpts I use are crafted by artists and purchased from a reputable dealer.
Photography is done in my studio with natural lighting available at the time, if natural light is not available due to weather conditions I will use artificial filtered light. I do my best not to alter photos but from time to time I will include one fun filtered photo. I want you to be able to see what I see. I try to keep photography as honest as I can. I do one photoshoot before I store babies (they are kept protected in a sealed container until they are shipped home).

My babies are double checked and photographed at packing, before they go to post to be sure they are complete, undamaged, carefully wrapped and ready for you to love.
All babies are made at Saint Cloud Nursery in a smoke and animal free studio in California.
(I do have a dog in my home but I do not keep any pets in my studio and my studio is separate from my living space)
