Nicholas is a LE Partial Silicone baby meaning his head, arms and legs are full silicone and his body is a cloth stuffed and weighted body. He is #5 in the edition of only 20 silicone kits world wide. He is a smaller preemie at 13 inches long with bent legs and weighs 2 lbs 11 oz. He is poured in Ecoflex 20 so he is a soft silicone but not marshmellow soft. This sculpt does not have an open mouth but I have cut a smaller opening in his mouth so that his thumb just will fit in there as will his custom small nib paci. When a silicone mouth that was not sculpted open is cut open like this, one must be careful when inserting pacis and fingers etc. not to over stretch and tear the opening. I am not responsible if you tear your baby's mouth. It is recommended to powder the mouth and paci with silicone matting powder or use a silicone product made for this before inserting it. I will send some matting powder along with him. I recommend only using the silicone pacis I will send with him. This gives the buyer the option of having a baby that can carefully take a paci. His eyes are oval blue glass eyes. Nicholas is painted with Psycho Paints and my own blend of colors using Silc Pigments. I seal my babies with Psycho Paints clear layer and Just Matte matting powder. My painting and matting may leave a noticeable texture to some people as I do not over thin my paints. As can be the case with silicones, you may find little imperfections, pimples etc. on baby upon close inspection. These are all part of his character. I have let Nicholas bald as I do not root. Nicholas will come home wearing his little Kinby outfit with his monster lovie and wrapped in a soft blanket in his little soft basket. He will also bring along another outfit, his COA, pacis and Dumplins paperwork. Please ask any questions you may have before purchasing as all sales are final.
