1st painted silicone - the doll has some applications of "darker areas" of yellow and blue tones than I typically like to see on my baby dolls. My inexperience and lint imbedded under coats of silicone has me offering Sage at an extremely low adoption fee.

This is my first official painting a silicone kit from the beginning. I have been reborning vinyl doll kits for 7 years and now I am going to try my hand at reborning silicone kits. Sage has some coloring issues and because I am a beginner with painting silicone, you benefit because I am listing him at a .
Sage is painted with a reddish skin tone and has slight mottling, with veins and blushing. I have painted the eyebrows and rooted his eyelashes. The doll is sealed with a Matte powder finish.
Sage’s “hair” was painted and then I rooted over the paint with brownish curly mohair. There is no way to secure the mohair. Very gentle care should be taken with Sage’s curls. I like to dampen the hair with a mist of water and lightly and slowing “fluff” “comb” the hair from the ends. NOT the roots. The more you mess with the hair- the sooner you will have no more mohair on the doll’s head.
Sage has a doe suede fabric body, weighted with glass beads and poly-fill. Sage’s mouth has be opened and care should be taken when placing the pacifier in his mouth.
