Daphne is 19 inches long and weighs 4 pounds 8 ounces. She is a realborn, meaning she was sculpted after a real baby. She is painted with many layers of heat set paint. She had full vinyl arms and legs. She is filled with fine glass beads surrounded by soft polyfil making her very cuddly. As always, my favorite part of reborning is the details. Daphne has intricate veining, finger nails and capillaries. Some details are so small they are barely seen by the human eye but give an over effect of realism. She has full limbs and takes a magnetic pacifier.
Daphne’s hair is painted in shades of brown. Her eye lashes are rooted.
Daphne’s eye lashes and pacifier magnet have been double glued. In addition, her pacifier has a moleskin cover to insure it stays put. Her flanges have a hard-smooth covering which allows her connectors to be nice and tight yet makes her limbs move easily. She is sealed with Americana Soft Touch varnish. This allows for a nice matt finish that is soft to the touch.
