This kit is the Realborn Brooklyn Asleep kit from BB. It’s fitted to an 18 inch cloth, jointed and poseable body. I have stuffed this little one with fine glass beads and two types of polyfill. I painted this little one to resemble a real infant with GHSP paints and varnish. I’ve also used an additional matte and soft touch coating.
I tried to keep this little one a bargain baby, by leaving him or her bald but also to show all of its detail. I added everything I could from veins, capillaries, blushing, nail details, acne, milia and even peach fuzz or lanugo. Eyelashes are rooted with mohair and sealed from the inside, brows have been drawn realistically and a magnet has been glued to the inside of the head for use with included pacifier
I really loved bringing this kit to life, and made sure to realistically weigh him or her. You will have to support the hear such as you would a newborn and the same goes for it’s body. This isn’t intended for children, it’s art and needs to be treated as such. I do use heat set paints and a varnish to protect paint durability
