He’s a partial silicone, sculpted from the Realborn Darren kit from Bountiful Baby. He has silicone limbs and head on a weighted cloth body to about 6lbs and 19 inches long. He’s been painted in several layers with Silc Pig pigments, sealed with a clear coat of silicone and matted with matting powder. He has heavy newborn tones and mottling with reddish hands and feet. He has tiny milk bumps on his nose, a sucky newborn lip and barely their painted eyebrows. I’ve directionally rooted his hair in baby soft mohair. He poses and smells just like a newborn and can “suck” on a modified pacifier.
He comes home in a beautiful holiday themed box, including several outfits of my choice, diapers, milk bottle, pacifier(s) brush and special mohair spray, wrapped in a soft blanket with his stuffy.
Silicone dolls are a one of a kind piece of art, therefore will have imperfections. They need to be handled with care just like a real baby. Hair cannot be sealed inside of the head, so gentle care is required.
**PLEASE READ** This kit came to me as a “Boo Boo” kit due to his seams being visible. I worked to get them shaved down the best I could, but they are still slightly visible. Also, I’ve used a couple new techniques which caused his mottling/coloring in some areas to be darker than i’de liked. Let me know if you would like any up close pictures before purchase.
