Emmy was created from the beautiful open edition Emmy kit by the very talented sculptor Sandy Faber. She is is 4 pounds 2 ounces and is 21 inches long . Layers and layers of Air dry paint was used to create this amazing living skin tone and sealed for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Emmys limbs are filled with glass beads, poly pellets and fresh fiberfill. The body and head are filled with the the same mixture. I have weighted her to be somewhat floppy but also her body and head full enough so she can sit up for posing. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. Her finger nails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed to prevent chipping.. Her lips and mouth have been glossed to give a natural moist look. I have even painted the white texture dots on her tongue. Her veins have been applied to appear under the skin for ultimate realism. I have painted Emmy to resemble an Asian American baby around 5-6 months old. Emmy has full arms and 3/4 legs. She has baby powder scented wafers in her body that gives that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love.Her hair has been rooted with premium mohair from delta dawn with a small needle. I have rooted it thick with 3 different shades of blacks and browns as to create natural highlights. This takes many hours to do but the realism it creates is well worth it. Her hair can be lightly moistened to style. Do not wet completely as this can damage paint. Her eyebrows were hand painted on one lash at a time. The eyelashes Are hand applied to match her hair. She has beautiful brown glass eyes. All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered except for cropping so you can see what baby actually looks like. If this little sweetie has stolen your heart don't let her get away because this sweetie is a one of a kind work of art and there will never be another one exactly like her. Emmy will come home with only the items listed here and any items in pictures not listed here were used as my photo props and not part of her sale. Emmy will come home with her three piece outfit with the red footed pants, the Nordic snowflake side snap shirt with the matching hat, she will have her green corduroy one piece outfit with the rounded lace collar, white socks and red Santa booties. Emmy will also have her pink and grey fox blanket sleeper, her pink button up hooded jacket and her grey winter hat. She will have her red and gold hair bows, her aqua cut modified pacifier, her baby bottle and her rainbow blanket. Emmy come home with a diaper, birth certificate and a care sheet. Emmy does have a magnet in her head incase her new mommy wishes to use a magnetic hair bow so care must be taken around kids, pets, pacemakers and electronics as these are very strong earth magnets. I believe in supporting my local second hand shops so all of her items may not be new but they were all picked out just for her.
