Raya was created from the Raya kit with COA by Ping Lau -she is a toddler-sized reborn doll with full arms, full legs, a custom-fit body with an upper torso, she has a head connector to her body torso so her head turns easily, and moves up and down for posing, and she has arm connectors.
🎇Please note Raya is not weighted she only has polyfill in the center of her body🎇 I had planned to keep her in my collection upon completing her as with a kit of this size keeping her lighter for photo taking and posing was the original intent- so I did not add weight to her limbs (her head cannot be weighted as it is on a swivel system attached to her upper nack plate half torso that is sewn into her cloth body.) Since she is a larger doll doing photos with her is easier without her being weighted, but you may add your preferred weight to her after purchase to customize her to your needs if you would like.
Raya has a fair skin tone- and age-appropriate creasing, light veining, and blushing with nail beds painted and tipped naturally. I use Reborn FX air-dry acrylics and varnishes by MacPherson Arts & Crafts. Raya has fully rooted hair that can be styled easily she also has rooted eyelashes.
Raya has professional-grade rooted synthetic hair. I use synthetic hair on my reborn toddlers and older babies as I feel it gives a natural look, and it is very easy to maintain and style for photos and everyday cuddling, her hair can be styled easily with water or detangler -I use -Ebin- brand 5-second spray to condition her hair- it is available on Amazon- it can be fingerstyle to add more curls. Her hair can also be put in pigtails or a ponytail. Raya comes home with a COA from Ping Lau and my artist COA certifying she was reborn in my studio-I also have the receipt from Irresistibles to verify her authenticity if needed.
Raya comes home with the following items, all nicely wrapped and presented: 2- outfits 1-diaper 1-artist COA from my studio and original COA from Ping Lau 1-blanket 2- headbands or clip-in hair bows of my choice 1-stuffed animal
