Davy was created from the real-born Darren kit by Bountiful Baby- he is a small newborn-size reborn and he has full details: very fair skin- with soft blushing, creasing, nails glossed lightly, and very light veining.
I use Reborn FX air-dry acrylics and varnish by MacPherson Arts & Crafts. Davy has hand-painted light brown hair delicately painted to resemble an authentic newborn hair pattern, as well as matching eyebrows. The hair was sealed/varnished twice to make sure the paintwork is protected. Davy was a sale kit, and he was fully inspected by me for any issues before being painted, he does not have the Bountiful Baby COA as he was a sale seconds kit, but I do have the receipt from BB to verify he is authentic. Davy is weighted to be a softer cuddly newborn - with extra weight added to his head. I used a modified (shortened in the limb area)suede 3/4 limb body so that he has more movement in the limbs for posing and he can curl up as a true newborn does.
Davy has a magnet for a pacifier and one is included. Weight- 3lbs8oz approx-
