Daisy was created from the Rowan kit by Jessica Schenk, produced by Bountiful Baby -she is an older baby-sized reborn doll with 3/4 arms and 3/4 legs. Daisy is weighted in all her limbs, and center torso area. I did not add weight to her head so she could be posed sitting up, which is age appropriate for her size kit. You may add weight to her head if you prefer. I chose not to at the time of making her as I felt it would make her easier to pose without a heavier head like a newborn reborn usually has. Daisy has a fair skin tone- and age-appropriate creasing, light veining, and blushing with nail beds painted and tipped naturally. I use Reborn FX air-dry acrylics and varnishes by MacPherson Arts & Crafts-she also has an added layer of AK matte varnish so her finish is very soft and smooth. Daisy has fully rooted curly blonde hair that can be styled easily and she also has lightly painted eyelashes and painted eyebrows. Daisy is an artist kit by Bountiful Baby and those kits do not come with a COA from BB- I do have my receipt from BB to share if authenticity verification is needed.
Daisy has professional-grade rooted synthetic hair. I use synthetic hair on my reborn toddlers and older babies as I feel it gives a natural look, and it is very easy to maintain and style for photos and everyday cuddling, her hair can be styled easily with water or detangler -I use -Ebin- brand 5-second spray to condition her hair- it is available on Amazon- it can be fingerstyle to add more curls. Her hair can also be put in pigtails or a mini ponytail. Daisy wears approx 6 month-size clothing, and possibly some smaller 12 months size as she is 24"inches long.
