Otillie was created from the beautiful sold out Very Limited Edition Otillie kit by the very talented sculptor Cassie Brace. This kit sold out within minutes as a very small edition of only 500 worldwide. He comes with with his special certificate of authenticity, birth certificate, canvas bag , peach blanket and special tissue paper from the sculptor. He is is 5 pounds 6 ounces and is 20.5 inches long . Layers and layers of Air dry paint was used to create this amazing living skin tone and sealed for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Otillies limbs are filled with glass beads, poly pellets and fresh fiberfill. The body and head are filled with the the same mixture. I have weighted him to be somewhat floppy. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. His finger nails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed to prevent chipping.. His lips have been glossed to give a natural moist look. His veins have been applied to appear under the skin for ultimate realism. I have painted Otillie as a newborn baby. I have added an anatomically correct chest/ belly plate and painted the belly button to appear as if umbilical stump has just fallen off. The umbilical stump in pictures DOES NOT come with the baby as it is one of my photo props He has full arms and full legs. Otillie has baby powder scented wafers in his body that gives that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love.His hair has been rooted with premium mohair from delta dawn with a small needle. I have rooted it with 3 different shades of browns as to create natural highlights. This takes many hours to do but the realism it creates is well worth it. His hair can be lightly moistened to style. Do not wet completely as this can damage paint. His eyebrows were hand painted on one lash at a time. The eyelashes are hand rooted to match his hair. All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered except for cropping so you can see what baby actually looks like. If this little sweetie has stolen your heart don't let him get away because this sweetie is a one of a kind work of art and there will never be another one exactly like him. Otillie will come home with only the items listed here and any items in pictures not listed here were used as my photo props and not part of her sale. Otillie will come home with his long sleeved side snap shirt, his green and white hat and matching panda pants from Kate Quinn. He will have his rescue vehicle zip up sleep and play, he will have his white socks, his two piece sweater footed pants and matching knit sweater. Otillie will also have his blue panda fleece blanket, all the special items I listed above that came with the kit, he will have his modified fox pacifier. He will come home with is diaper , birth certificate and a care sheet. Otillie does have a magnet behind his lips and has a modified magnet pacifier so care must be taken around kids, pets, pacemakers and electronics as these are very strong earth magnets. I believe in supporting my local second hand shops so all of his items may not be new but they were all picked out just for him.
