Painted with GHSP paints and varnished with a matte varnish I wanted to play around with details such as dry skin, texture, blemishes, baby acne and scratches so I’ve included all of these in Sarah. I’ve also added the basic details such as mottling, veining, creasing and blushing. This was done over hours and hours and days with dozens of layers of paint by hand. I’ve painted Sarah to an ethnic caramel skin tone.
Sarah is filled with polyfill and weighed with glass beads to 5 pounds, 15 ounces. Each limbs is weighed and so is the head so this reborn will have to be supported when held. There is a magnet inside of her head for a pacifier. Her eyelashes are sealed on the inside and rooted Sarah has dark brown painted hair.
