Joni is painted with Genesis heat-set paints and double sealed with varnish. He has very soft and manageable medium brown Delta Dawn mohair that is sealed from the inside to prevent it from falling out. His high-quality glass eyes are also sealed inside to ensure they don't shift over time. Joni is a larger newborn-sized baby, full of real newborn details such as, milia, subtle baby acne, dry skin, a small scratch, and a very moist look to his eyes that was achieved using epoxy resin. Not only do these resin "tears" add to his realism, but they also seal the gap between the vinyl and the glass eye to prevent dust accumulation as well as further secure the eye in place. He is weighted with fine glass beads and extremely soft polyfil, which makes him so very cuddly in your arms.
Joni wears newborn size clothing perfectly, takes a magnetic pacifier, and will come with a small box opening in your choice of girl or boy!
