For adoption is adorable prototype Giovanni by Alyssa Vang. His artist is Meagan Denton-Country in the Cradle Nursery. He is a big, heavy baby at between 7 and 8 pounds (I added weight) and 21”. He wears 0-3 month and 3 month clothing sizes best. His hair is painted and his eyelashes are rooted. His vinyl is sooo soft and he is beautifully weighted to be cuddly and floppy. His arms are straight with one of his hands made perfectly for gripping small objects such as rattles for photo props and his bent legs make him curl up so sweetly.
While I do not consider him to be a boo-boo baby, I have him heavily discounted for a couple of reasons. Because I downsize frequently, I tend to be (sometimes overly) picky.
1. While he’s not “shiny” because this was the way he came, I am not a huge fan of the satin finish used and personally prefer more of a matte. He is actually well-sealed, his “skin” just has a sheen. 2. When I got him, the paint on his toes was darker in spots. Whether this was something in the vinyl or color transfer, I’m not sure, but it was something that I felt should have been disclosed so I’m disclosing it.😊 It does not detract from him and this is an opportunity to own a prototype at a fabulous price. Giovanni takes a magnetic pacifier and will come with a paci, blanket, a couple of outfits of my choice, and his artist paperwork. I will also enclose an extra, slightly larger body. To me, i preferred the slightly smaller one, but I will enclose it as preferences vary. As a prototype, he was not issued a sculptor COA. Some of the items/outfits pictured are props and may not be included. The last few pictures are his artist prototype pictures as they show some of his details better.
