This is an authentic hospital IV bag used to administer medications in a newborn nursery. It has been modified to use with a reborn doll in that the liquid does not actually go into the baby. The bag, seal, tubing, etc. have been sealed securely to that nothing leaks onto your dolls, bedding, or clothing. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE BAG OR THE TUBING. It comes already filled and ready to use. You may use the hook provided (style and color may vary) or just use a ribbon to tie it to the crib or from a stand of your choosing.
The liquid is purified water that is colored with harmless food coloring. Style of hanger may vary slightly due to availability of supplies.
The ankle wrap is made of white felt and closes with a velcro tab which will adjust to all size dolls except for toddlers or larger. There are no sharp objects used in the construction. The fake "needle" is completely enclosed within the band.
