This 19-inch doll weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces has been meticulously painted with heat set paint to include many fine details such as mottling, veins, and capillaries. Charlie's finger nails alone have 4 shades of paint, and some details are so small they are barely seen with the human eye but give an overall effect of realism.
What makes Charlie even more special is that he has a plastisol bottom and a belly plate, which make him exceptionally soft and cuddly. The plastisol material gives his tushy a soft and squishy feel that almost resembles silicone.
Charlie's hair is directional micro-rooted in light brown quality mohair by Fine Fiber. His temples are rooted in a light brown giving him a realistic baby look. His eye lashes are rooted over his beautiful green eyes. He takes a regular pacifier that I have modified to fit his mouth.
I put my heart and soul in to creating this baby. No detail was overlooked. When I first received the blank kit, I was not sure if I liked it. But as I brought him to life he began to emerge as a beautiful, happy, realistic baby that has now become a favorite. I wish I had purchased two but he is sold out.
