Prototype Teddy I am selling my prototype version of Teddy! She is just SO beautiful done in this blue and white vintage style pattern. She has been meticulously created with many layers by me in my own Original design “Kintsugi Dish Darling”. She has a fine delicate cracking texture like you would expect to see on a vintage dish in its glazing. I added her gold cracks reminiscent of a Kintsugi dish. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold — built on the idea that in embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art. This last step was added by the brilliant request of a client who had emotionally struggled through many hardships in life and felt she was a stronger more beautiful person on the other side of all of this ❤️❤️❤️ (Thank You).
Also my namesake for this style of baby ~”Dish Darlings “~ was actually suggested to me by the mommy of the real Teddy whom this sculpt was created from, Aly Ralph! She is a dear friend I remember when she shred with us privately she was pregnant with our sweet Teddy and here she is a sculpt we all get to enjoy now! All of this makes this particular baby extremely special ❤️ her photo is also on the current selling Teddy COA’s!
She will come with a gorgeous box opening you will have to see to believe! She has a magnet and will come with a magnetic paci.
What I love about these babies is not only are they weighted and dress and cuddle like any other reborn but they also decorate a room in such an original and show stopping way.
