Maria was created from the beautiful Limited First Edition Maria “Baby’s First Cry” kit by the very talented sculptor Sabrina Hergarten. She comes complete with a crybox inside her. Please send me a message so I could send you a video of her crying. She is number 207 of only 2000 worldwide. Maria comes home with with her certificate of authenticity stating she is a first edition kit. She is 8 pounds 7 ounces and is 19 inches long . I have installed a cry box that I recorded inside her body. Sometimes moving her will set it off but it can be pushed on by pressing her chest. I have put the cry box inside a mesh bag and pinned it to the front inside of the body so it won’t shift too much. You can remove it to re record or to place another ,as batteries are not replaceable in it, by simply cutting the zip tie on the head and opening the mesh bag. Head can easily be put back on by a new zip tie. I will include the bag with instructions to re record crybox if wanted or needed. Layers and layers of Air dry paint was used to create this amazing living skin tone and sealed for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Maria’s limbs are filled with glass beads, poly pellets and fresh fiberfill. The body and head are filled with the the same mixture. I have weighted her to be somewhat floppy like a new baby so her head will need to be supported. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. Her finger nails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed to prevent chipping.. Her lips, mouth and tongue have been glossed to give a natural moist look. I have even painted white dots on the tongue for ultimate realism. I have put a little extra gloss around her eyes as she is crying. Her veins have been applied to appear under the skin for ultimate realism. I have painted Maria as a newborn baby with a bit redder face as she is crying. She has full arms and full legs. Maria has baby powder scented wafers in her body that gives that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love.Her hair has been rooted with premium mohair from delta dawn with a small needle. I have rooted it with 3 different shades of browns as to create natural highlights. This takes many hours to do but the realism it creates is well worth it. Her hair can be lightly moistened to style. Do not wet completely as this can damage paint. Her eyebrows were hand painted on one lash at a time. Very faint like a newborn. The eyelashes are hand rooted to match her hair. All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered except for cropping so you can see what baby actually looks like. If this little sweetie has stolen your heart don't let her get away because this sweetie is a one of a kind work of art and there will never be another one exactly like her. Maria will come home with only the items listed here and any items in pictures not listed here were used as my photo props and not part of her sale. Maria will come home with her pink moon bunny sleeper with fold over hand cuffs, her white magnet hair bow , her pink and blue hospital hat, her Kate Quinn bloomers and matching elf bonnet hat, her white side snap t shirt with the fold over hand cuffs, her two piece shirt set with white shorts and pink and white tank top, her pink cheetah print hooded outfit with white socks, her cut modified pacifier, her rainbow blanket, her diaper , birth certificate and a care sheet as well as the cry box installed in her body. Maria does have a magnet in her head for her modified bow so care must be taken around kids, pets, pacemakers and electronics as these are very strong earth magnets. I believe in supporting my local second hand shops so all of her items may not be new but they were all picked out just for her.
