What a cutie was born in the nursery this afternoon. Bountiful Baby’s Realborn sculpt, Ruby awake.
This baby is 18” long and weighs 4 pounds 5 ounces. Ruby is a preemie/newborn and will be super fun for cuddling and posing for pictures!
She has been painted with many layers of Genesis Heat-set paints and sealed with a mat varnish to protect her paint. The layers I painted include creases, veining, mottling, blushing and washes to give her beautiful skin tone.
Ruby has been assembled using premium reborning supplies including glass beads specifically for reborning from Bountiful Baby and a premium fiberfill. She is very floppy and has been weighted to feel like a real newborn baby.
Baby has beautiful newborn grey eyes and applied lashes. Her hair and brows have been painted. Baby smells like a freshly bathed and powdered baby!
Ruby has a strong magnet behind her lips for a magnetic pacifier and she will come with one. There is also a magnet in baby’s head in case you want baby to be a girl – then she can wear hairbows.
For her photoshoot, I have Ruby dressed so that you could picture her as a boy or a girl. Please let me know what gender you want baby’s box opening.
