This kit is the 'Quinlyn' sculpt by Bonnie Brown and Adrie Stoete. She is a fully completed and assembled reborn baby that has been professionally artist-painted and individually weighted to closely replicate a newborn baby girl. She is approximately 18 inches long and 4.3 pounds. She has full arms and legs attached to a non-jointed, soft cloth body that came with her kit and makes her snuggle like a real baby. Her layered skin tone was created using Genesis Heat Set Paints that give off no odor. She has subtle blue undertones and veining, hand-painted eyebrows, rooted eyelashes, tiny capillaries, and her little nails have been tipped and sealed with a light shine. Her paint has been sealed with a textured mix of multiple Genesis Heat Set varnishes that leave her skin looking matte, but alive. She has totally amazing dark brown hair that was mono-rooted one hair at a time! Her hair is extremely fine Alpaca hair, which makes it super soft, but also very fragile and easy-to-tangle. Note: she has a few white marks from rooting on her left temple, but they are not super noticeable.
Every doll I make is weighted and stuffed using tiny glass beads in the limbs, head and body, and premium poly-fil to give each a soft, squishy feel that will make anyone want to hold them. Quinlyn has been uniquely stuffed to give her an especially lifelike floppy feel as she nestles into your arms, but this means that she will need to be held carefully with her head supported, just like a real baby in order to protect her neck.
Quinlyn will come home to you in pink layette set (not pictured). She has a magnet, and she will come home with a magnetic pacifier. She will come home with a few diaper, a COA, care instructions, a blank birth certificate, and a few extra outfits. Note: She does not come home with many of the outfits and props pictured. Most of her outfits are not pictured to remain a surprise.
