🌻Laney is a reborn Berenguer brand therapy/baby -full body vinyl- she was painted in the manner of original reborn work before blank kits were available. ***PLEASE NOTE: (this is not a factory-painted doll and went through the entire reborn painting process with the entire body- ) Laney was a rescue reborn, meaning I purchased her after she has been well loved, she was cleaned, stripped, and unfortunately she has some areas that did not take paint, so she is priced lower- see pictures. She may have other areas that are slightly imperfect, but it does not take away from her cuteness. -Laney was stripped to the base vinyl and completely repainted with full newborn details including - skin tone warmed, veining, and blushing. The hair has an original line pattern in the base vinyl-the hair was hand painted and light hair details were added at the hairline and double varnished to protect the finish, for frequent handling if she is to be used as a therapy baby. She has full details such as light veining, light mottling, creasing, blushing, hand-painted eyebrows, lashes, and glossed and lightly tipped nail beds and lips. She has the redder tone of a newborn baby. I use Reborn FX air-dry acrylics and varnishes by MacPherson Arts & Crafts. Ann was varnished to seal in the paintwork and details. I did not add a magnet for a pacifier for safety reasons if she is to be used as a therapy baby, her mouth is slightly open, so a cut pacifier will fit in her mouth and is included. No weighting has been added to the doll. Lany is a cute versatile baby she is great for a new or younger collector, a collector who wants something different, etc, or for a budget-friendly therapy doll. She can be used as a play doll (intense play/ bathing/rough play is not recommended as she is still an art doll and is hand painted )
