I have lowered the price on this doll as she has been with me for some time now. It is a quality reborn and carefully created with much detail by me. It would make a beautiful gift as a first reborn baby doll.
The only boo boo, which is not really one is that the eyes don't look that good with the doll. I have priced this reborn baby doll at a giveaway price. The kit was not a favorite of mine but I reborned the kit with the same details and perfections of any other reborn baby doll that I work with.
The doll featured has been created from the Realborn awake Felicity kit from Bountiful Baby. It is my belief that this kit is no longer available in the vinyl version.kit, While I normally do not attempt a biracial tone doll, I loved the features of the kit and thought it would adopt well to a darker skin tone. It was a joy bringing Felicity to such a lifelike appearance. * * The weight on Felicity is 5 1/2 pounds and she is approximately 19 inches. Weight and length are close approximates.
** I have used only Genesis heat set paints on Felicity. She has beautifully realistic blushing, mottling and veining details. I gave her a delicate baby look manicure. The doll has been sealed with matte varnish. I did give the doll a dewy skin look on her face and limbs. * Felicity was not given a magnetic pacifier. Please be aware my doll has not been created to be a play toy for a small child. It should be treated as a valuable collector item. With proper care my doll will stay beautiful for many years to come. (because of the small glass beads use caution around any chewing pets)
*** Felicity has non-jointed full arms and legs. Her head and limbs can be carefully turned for posing. Her head is floppy as a newborn would be and needs to be supported when picking up and setting down. She was given a doe cloth body which also is a darker color. She has been weighted with glass beads and quality fiber fill. The doll is a wee bit stiffer than some of my dolls.
** I gave Felicity a sweet head of painted hair. It is a very dark color. I also used a slight amount of air dry paint on top of the painted hair to add a bit more realism. Her eyebrows are also painted. I decided to try and root the dolls lashes instead of glued applied lashes. The look turned out passible I think. Her eyelashes are very securely glued in but I always advise being careful when putting clothing over the dolls head.
The dolls layette will include the clothing she is seen wearing. Please be aware that because some of the clothing has a larger neck her cloth body cannot be covered as well as with some outfits. I find this happens with the reborn dolls and the normal clothing for a real baby. I will include a hand crocheted cocoon wrap. I will include the Certificate of Authenticity and a care sheet with my advice for keeping the doll in pristine condition. No other items will be included. (I will create a custom Certificate of Adoption if requested. It will include the name of the doll (let me know if you would like a different name rather than Aspen) and the name of the adopting parent. (no other items will be included.)

I do want to add some additional comments about my biracial Felicity. I am my own worst critic when It comes to describing my baby dolls but I always want to be as honest as possible. The painted hair on the doll was not as perfect as I would have liked it to be. Also, the doll feels a little stiffer and not quite as floppy as some I have created. Also, the lashes were a bit more difficult to root because of the lack of eyelids on the doll. The skin has some slightly lighter tiny little spots that are not overly noticeable.
