Introducing Octavia -Painted by me and Sculpted By Gudrun Legler. This doll is painted as a one-of-a-kind work of art. All my dolls are exclusively sold on this site .
Octavia has real personality! She has been painted with realistic flesh tones, veins, and blushing. I used air dry paints and several coats of matte varnish. Her acrylic eyes really seem to be focusing on something. I used multiple Prismacolor pencils to give her hair texture. (I varnished between layers). Her head is bald on top, but it seems to be growing in on the sides and around back. Her lashes are a beautiful length to help draw you into her eyes. She has a small birthmark/mole on the back of her left arm in between her wrist and elbow.
This baby weighs approximately 4 lbs. She is filled with quality Poly-Fil and glass beads. So, her head will need to be supported like a real baby, due to the beads added to her head. She is floppy like a real baby. She takes a magnetic pacifier. I had loads of fun taking her pictures in various positions.
