Gorgeous and snuggly Limited Edition Ronin sculpt by Laura Tuzio-Ross and reborn by myself at Bambino Nursery this afternoon at 1:41pm on 8/7/23. His pictures do not do him justice!!! He is weighted perfectly for snuggling and posing at 8.16lbs using the finest materials such as Silk Polyfill Down Alternative, Polyfill in arms, legs and head, course glass beads, and Poly Pellets give him a buttery soft but firm construction. What a joy to hold!!!! His head is fully weighted, but can be adjusted so he can sit up (Ronin does need assistance otherwise sitting up).
Robin has been painted with the durable Ultimate Fusion paints which boast of fusion with vinyl and resulting in a doll that is excellent for interaction and play (but is still marketed for adult collectors only). His nails are tipped and glossed. Robin does need to be supported just as you would an actual baby, such as his head and body and should not be picked up by his limbs. He is rooted with ultra soft and fine angora mohair (gives him an age appropriate fuzzy look) and is incredibly soft! His hair is pictured dry, but you can wet style it flat if you wish. He was mono rooted by myself (1 hair per hole) and sealed from inside his head. So you may style with a wet infant brush. Eyelashes are applied and color matching just for him. He has gorgeous dark blue glass eyes and wears 0-3 months and 3 months best.
Robin is a work of art and there will never be another like him—he is truly one of a kind! Please note—while I was assembling him his doe suede body had a seam that was barely sewn when making it (I have reinforced this seam and back sewn for additional strength and does not minimize his value nor is a boo boo). Sometimes this happens in the factory when they are sewing together the seams for the dolls body. I would rather be safe then sorry and is a part of my inspection process.
Robin will come home with his limited edition COA, care instructions, his organic outfit he is pictured in, at least 1 other outfit specifically chosen for him, his elephant lovey, his elephant booties, his pacifier, and his blanket.
