DISCLAIMER: This baby is considered a boo boo baby due to the fact I warmed her vinyl too much when trying to achieve the skin tone that I like my babies to have. This means her skin tone is darker than what most of my dolls are. Baby Ruby does not have any defects, I am simply listing her as a boo boo baby because I feel like I didn't capture the skin tone I prefer. This baby is still a beautiful baby by all means.
She wears newborn size clothes
Sculpt-Ruby Bountiful Baby
Details:
This gorgeous baby was brought to life with multiple layers of Genesis Heat Set paint. She has several layers of mottling and skin tone layers to achieve her realistic skin tone. The last layer on her skin was sealant to ensure her paint never fades or wears off. The sealant gives her a slight texture to his skin.
Her head, body, and limbs have been weighted with glass beads to feel realistic in your arms. Her head has been weighted to be floppy and you'll want to support it as if you are holding a real baby.
She has a cloth body with full arms and full legs.
She has soft veining on her head and limbs. Her little fingernails have been neatly tipped and sealed.
For ultra realism I have painted tiny milk bumps on her nose and chins....perfectly imperfect newborn complexion.
Hair: Her hair was meticulously painted in brown. Her eyebrows were painted very lightly and sealed as well.
Her eyelashes have been applied.
Caution! A magnet has been placed on the inside of her head and on her pacifier. Caution should be taken around a magnetic field such as pacemakers, computers, and credit cards, etc.
Going Home:
She will go home with a two piece outfit, soft baby blanket, magnetic pacifier, baby socks, shoes, hand mitts, diaper, blank birth certificate, and care instructions. (Bunny not included)
