🌻Marigold is a reborn vintage Berjusa brand therapy/baby -full body vinyl-she is anatomically correct- she was painted in the manner of original reborn work before blank kits were available.
***PLEASE NOTE: (This is not a factory-painted doll and went through the entire reborn painting process with the entire body- ) -Marigold's original paint was stripped to the base vinyl and completely repainted with full newborn details including - skin tone warmed, veining, and blushing. The hair has an original line pattern in the base vinyl-the hair was hand painted and light hair details were added at the hairline and double varnished to protect the finish. I then did combi rooted hair for her, with soft synthetic curly dark brown hair. The rooting is down the center line of her head, and lightly around the back of the top of the head in the swirl area only to add realism, the entire head is not rooted. She has full details such as light veining, light reddish newborn style mottling, creasing, blushing, hand-painted eyebrows, and glossed and lightly tipped nail beds and lips. I use Reborn FX air-dry acrylics from Irrisitables and varnishes by MacPherson Arts & Crafts. Marigold was varnished well to seal in the paintwork and details. I did not add a magnet for a pacifier to her. The mouth is slightly open and can lightly hold a modified pacifier, I made one that comes with her and I will add some pacifier putty to help keep it in her mouth for the buyer. No weighting has been added to the doll. Marigold is a cute versatile baby she is great for a new or younger collector, a collector who wants something different, etc, or for a budget-friendly therapy doll. She can be used as a play doll (intense play/ bathing/rough play is not recommended as she is still an art doll and is hand painted )
