Look who has joined the nursery this evening! It's the sweet and lovely Ladybug!!!🥰 This beautiful big baby was sculpted by Donna RuBert. I can't help but smile when I look at her. Ladybug has been brought to life with many layers of Acrylic paint and sealed twice with soft-touch, matte varnish. I have painted her with many details including soft veining and mottling, small capillaries, a baby "blemish" on her forehead, tipped fingernails and toenails, and a bit of "moisture" added to her lips, ears, nostrils, and corners of his eyes. She has beautiful acrylic blue eyes with flecks of green and brown, painted brown hair and eyebrows, a little rooted brown mohair on top for added realism, rooted eyelashes, and painted bottom lashes. She is weighted to feel as if you are holding a real baby and you will need to support her head.
Ladybug will be sent home in the beautiful dress and headband in the photos plus two more outfits, a modified pacifier, 2 diapers, and a baby-scented wafer placed in his diaper. She wears a size 4 diaper and 6-9 month clothing. She will also be wrapped in a blanket along with care info. and a birth certificate.
