Kai is a beautiful Asian baby sculpted by Jannie De Lange and reborned by Rainbow Reborns. She is a ball-joined, full body vinyl doll that is anatomically correct. Because she is ball-jointed she has a wide range of posing options since her head not only turns left and right but can look up and down. Her arms also not only turn up and down but can swivel slightly outward for an optimal range of movement.
Kai is 20i inches long and weighs 7 pounds 4 ounces. Her size like that of an average 3 month old baby. She can sit with placement of the legs outward. She wears 0-3 month size clothing and size 1 or 2 diapers. She was a part of the LDC collection and has a soft German vinyl body very similar in feel to silicone.
This kit never had an actual COA. The store where I purchased the kit was Irresistables which began supplying a universal store COA some time AFTER I purchased my kit years ago. The kit sat forgotten in my stash for years. This doll is SOLD OUT everywhere and as far as I know completely unavailable. So she is a rare find. I know this is an authentic kit as I have only bought from established authentic suppliers.
She was filled with glass beads and polyfil. Her soft dark hair was micro rooted as were her eyebrows. Her eyelashes were applied. She was painted with top quality artist grade acrylic pains and is sealed with varnish to preserve paint colors and reduce shine. Kai did not come with a COA but she was purchased from Irresistables doll company and is an authentic kit.
