Maggie is a reborn Berenguer- therapy baby -3/4 limb vinyl- (no gender)- she was painted in the manner of original reborn artwork before blank kits were available. (I also have a matching doll that could be her twin- Mattie- also listed on ) 📌***PLEASE NOTE: (This is not a factory-painted doll and went through the entire traditional reborn painting process with the entire body- ) Maggie's original factory paint was stripped to the base vinyl and completely repainted with full newborn details including - skin tones warmed, veining, and blushing. The hair has an original line pattern in the base vinyl-the hair was hand painted and light hair details were added at the hairline and double varnished to protect the finish. She has full details such as light veining, light mottling, creasing, blushing, hand-painted eyebrows, painted eyelashes, and glossed and lightly tipped nail beds and lips. I use Reborn FX air-dry acrylics from Irresistables and varnish by MacPherson Arts & Crafts. Weighting has been added to the doll in the main body- not the limbs as they are sewn on and I did not remove them- I also added weight to the head as well. Maggie is a cute versatile little baby I created for a budget-friendly option for the quickly approaching 2023 holiday gift-giving season and she has been given my full form of reborn work. She would make a great gift for a new or younger collector, a collector who wants something different, etc, or for a budget-friendly therapy doll. As with any reborn art doll intense or rough play is not recommended.
