Just finished this little guy today sept 28th 2023 After many delays so I’m so happy to finally add him to my nursery…. And hope someone wants to add him to their collection. He is a perfect newborn size and has just enough flexible movement to feel like a real baby in your arms. I’ve rooted alpaca hair in a light brown and rooted the lashes a shade darker. Teddy has the cutest chubby cheeks and lips. I debated on what type of pacifier to give him and decided on a magnet one but he could also use a cut reg pacifier if you choose since his mouth a open slightly. He has posible limbs and head and is weighted in limbs bottom body and head to spread out his weight…. And filled with poly fill for a cushioned body… head and limbs. I painted with GHSP sealed with matte varnish and glossed his lips , inner ear , nails and corners of his eyes for realism. I’m happy with how he turned out and though I hope to improve as an artist as time goes on I think his hair and paint gives Teddy the look of a real baby which is the goal after all.
