Please welcome adorable and playful Topsie the Clown to the nursery! 🤡❤️ Topsie is a kit from Bountiful Baby sculpted by Kelly RuBert. She has been brought to life with many layers of Acrylic paint and sealed three times with soft-touch, matte varnish. I have painted her with many details including soft veining and mottling, small capillaries, and a bit of "moisture" added to her ears, and corners of her eyes. Her face is painted with a happy clown look with heart balloons on her cheek and hands.
Topsie has painted brown hair, rooted synthetic red eyelashes, colorfully painted fingernails, and bluish-purplish acrylic eyes. Her boots are part of the kit and are not removable. They were painted to look a bit aged. She has 3/4 limbs which makes her very poseable for pictures.😉 She is weighted to feel as if you are holding a real baby. Her head does not have as much weight in it as I normally do for a reborn, so she can sit up on her own.
Topsie will be sent home in her clown costume which consists of a onesie, skirt, colorful bloomers, headband, and a neck frill that ties in the back. She will also come home with her homemade clown hat. The hat is meant to be handled gently as it is made of heavy card stock. I've glued wig hair inside the hat to change up her look. She will also come with a magnetic pacifier, 2 diapers, and a baby-scented wafer placed in his diaper. She wears a size 1 diaper and newborn and some 0-3 months clothes. She will also be wrapped in a blanket along with care info. and a birth certificate.
*Most clothing items I send home with the baby are pre-washed to prevent any dye transfer that may occur with some fabrics.*
