Sebastian was hand painted using Genesis heat set paints. This paint is permanent. He has subtle mottling and veining throughout his limbs, blue and purple undertones where babies have thinner skin. The artist used her own combination of Genesis varnish to matte, seal and protect his painting and give him a slight texture. Gina gave Sebastian a lovely new baby skin tone. She paints only in natural daylight, applying many thin layers for a realistic 3D effect and never rushes her work. The artist mixed her own colors making Sebastian truly one of kind! Sebastian has painted eyebrows and rooted lashes. His sweet nose has been shaded to create depth and has an added moisture affect to his eyelids, ears, and nostrils. His lips have been lightly glossed.
Sebastian comes with a removable belly plate for added realism when posing him. His limbs and body are filled with a combination of 2 different size fine glass beads, soft fiberfill and a baby fat tummy insert. He has been weighted to feel like a real baby in your arms. He is scented to keep him smelling baby fresh. His sweet fingers and toes have been tipped and sealed. High quality yearling mohair in a light brown color has been chosen for Sebastian. It is directionally rooted, very soft with a slight wave. It is sealed from the inside so that it may be gently styled. Rooted hair really adds to the realism of your reborn!
