Noah was created from the Bountiful baby kit Realborn Newborn Sage. Sage is a vinyl kit, and it is now a closed edition.

Noah was painted with Genesis heat set paint. I strive to create amazing realism with my skin tones and textures. The Genesis paint is perfect for painting in thin layers or glazes, and is permanent when heat set.
Skin: He has gentle blushing, texturing, and mottling which simulate the uneven appearance of a baby's skin tone. In addition, I paint subtle veins on the head, arms and legs to give ultimate realism to the skin. Gentle blushing and shading is painted all over each limb and the head to bring out all of the excellent details on the baby. No crease or roll is overlooked. This process takes many hours of work, but I do this to achieve the look that I want. It is worth it when I see the realistic results. I have applied a thin layer of matte varnish to protect the paint. The skin does not feel rough.
Hair: I used premium angora mohair on Noah, and the texture is soft and fine, and very straight. I painstakingly micro-root using a very fine needle that roots only 1 or 2 hairs at a time. The natural pattern of hair growth is followed giving the scalp a realistic look.
It takes many hours and days to root the hair, but the results are worth the effort. I also paint the fine hairs that grow around the scalp with tiny brush strokes to simulate the hair that grows around a baby's face. Noah’s hair has been internally sealed, and it can be wet, gently brushed, and styled.
Face: I have very softly painted Noah’s brows with a tiny brush one hair stroke at a time. The brows are very soft and light, and he has some rooted eyelashes. His face has been painted and blushed to look like my interpretation of a newborn baby. A fine layer of dewy skin varnish has been applied on his face for subtle texture and to protect the paint.
Body: Noah has full arms and legs that have been filled with glass beads and fiberfill. He has a cloth, non-jointed body. His head, arms, and legs can be turned for posing. His head has been weighted to be floppy.
Magnet: A magnet has been applied in his head for his pacifier. Caution: magnets can be harmful to people with pacemakers.
Layette: Noah wears size Newborn/0-3 months He will come home with the 2 outfits shown in his pictures, a pacifier, plus some extras to make a special box opening for the buyer. Please feel free to ask questions if needed.
