Introducing Robert sculpted by Severine Piret. Robert is a lovely baby that is ready for his new home.
He has been painted with many layers of air-dry paint for a more hyper-realistic look. His skin texture is smooth. Robert's hair has been rooted with chocolate brown HP baby locks. His hair is styled to mimic a baby in the 1950's with a curl on top. Then his hair comes to a swirl on the back of his head. He has blue, German glass eyes and rooted lashes. Gloss has been added to his nostrils, corners of his eyes, and to his mouth. He has been weighted to feel like a real baby.
In order to better protect the glass beads inserted into his cloth body, I sewed a pouch to hold his stocking containing the glass beads. I then inserted this into his body and surrounded it with quality poly-fil. The pouch also give Robert a more sturdy feel. He weighs almost 5 lbs. His finger and toenails have been painted and tipped. Robert has a neck ring to pose his head more easily. He takes a magnetic pacifier. He can wear some newborn sized clothes and 0-3 months as well. Once you pick him up, it will be difficult to put this cutie down!!

Ordering Information: Must be at least 18 to Purchase. All my dolls are created as one of a kind art. Every doll is painted carefully and with consideration for detail. Because I'm an artist at heart, I will see tiny flaws that others will not, just as you may find minor blemishes that I might not. Any major flaws will be described by me and reflected in the price.
❤Please don't ask me to reduce my pricing. I do not negotiate the price of my dolls. I barely make a profit after the cost of materials are reimbursed. There are also the banking fees (pay-pal), monthly host fees (reborns.com), studio fees ,and fees used to cover the packing materials. I put about 3 to 4 weeks of my time into making each reborn doll from a blank kit. It takes me about 3 to 5 hours of photography time per doll using various props, in trying to maximize the best time of day for natural light. Dolls are priced based on materials used, original kit prices (their edition status), plus the amount of time it takes to create them. Some dolls take longer to create than others (depending on details and realism). I have limited space in my studio. Sometimes I will reduce a Doll's price if I need to sell them to make room for new ones.
❤Warning for buyers with pacemakers- Some of my Dolls may have magnets in the head to attach a magnetic pacifier. My Art Dolls are intended for adults and mature teens as doll components are not safe for children, such as magnets in head and the pacifier and glass beads used for adding weight to the dolls.
❤I enjoy photography and spend a lot of time on my photos. I consider my photos as another form of art that goes along with my love for reborning. My photos are My Intellectual Property and may not be copied and or used to represent other dolls or entities for profit.
Terms and Conditions: Must be at least 18 to Purchase. I will ship dolls using the name and address provided on payment verification, usually within 5 business days from the purchase date. I will not ship to PO boxes or business addresses. Every doll is wrapped up carefully and packed with a lot of bubble wrap/packing materials to ensure that you receive it in the best condition.
