Katie is a realistically detailed, awake baby made from the “Katie” sculpt by Pat Secrist. S/he has a vinyl head on a Bountiful Baby cloth cuddle body (torso & limbs). S/he’s been painted with multiple transparent layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. S/he has a beautifully textured, medium-pale skin tone, with subtle veining and mottling, rosy cheeks, and newborn milia (milk spots). S/he has beautifully glossed, open lips and mouth. Their eyes, ears, and nose have also been delicately glossed. And their skin is sealed, for protection, with a satin-matte varnish mixture reflecting a soft newborn glow.
Katie has painted and prisma pencil-drawn, brown hair, brows, and lashes. They have beautiful, poly-acrylic, big, blue, open eyes.
Katie is lightly weighted at 3lbs and is 19 inches long, with a semi-floppy head, and wears NB size clothing. S/he has been filled with fine glass beads, glass sand, and premium poly-fil. S/he can take a magnetic pacifier and is adorably cuddly!.
