Welcome! My name is Joy and I create sweet schattebouts (“little darlings” in Dutch- my Grandma’s nickname for me) to fill your heart and your arms with love.
Schattebout Reborns are crafted using Golden Fluid air dry acrylic paints and are doubled varnished. These dolls are hand painted, not factory made, so perfect little imperfections should be expected. I am newer to reborning and am still learning as I go, so anything I feel is noticeable will be photographed and mentioned in the listing.
Each baby is weighted with a combination of fine glass beads and polyfil to have that authentic newborn feel. These dolls are works of art, not toys, and need to be handled with loving care so that they can be enjoyed for many years to come.
