Kai is an authentic doll with full vinyl limbs and a cloth body. The limbs, head and body are weighted and stuffed with polyfill and fine glass beads. He is painted with golden fluid air dry paint, varnished with Soft touch varnish and rooted with high-quality mohair in a golden blonde colour.
Unfortunately, the rooting didn't turn out as I hoped it would, and the hair is thin and does not lay flat. It is rather sprawly and needs to be handled with care. The rooting-job is what makes me consider him a boo-boo. The hair can be gently combed into place with a soft toothbrush and some water, and putting a hat on when the hair is wet can help it stay down. There is also some varnish under the hair that has cracked while rooting, which makes it seem like there is dry skin. I'm a beginner in rooting which is reflected in the price. Please keep this in mind.
Kai measures 19 inches and weighs approximately 4 lbs. He has a floppy head just like a real newborn. He has painted pimples and a birthmark. Milia on the nose.
Kai has a magnet glued inside his head and can take a magnet pacifier. One will be included when he is shipped out to his home. He will arrive with a blanket, an outfit, a magnet pacifier, a cute pacifier clip and his COA.
Pictures are taken in daylight during different hours of the day.
Kai ships from Sweden. The buyer is responsible for any import fees, however, when sending to the US within this price range I am fairly sure that there are no additional costs for the buyer at customs. Don't take my word for it though, better to check an extra time. :)
