Introducing a precious baby boy, created from the gorgeous August kit(vinyl) sculpted by Dawn Mcleod.
I was so lucky to get to be able to paint an August kit. He was on my must paint list and I didn't know he was a limited edition! Thankfully I realized in time and was able to purchase a kit. He is such a beautiful sculpt and was a joy to paint!

Length: 22 inches Weight: 4lb 12oz I weighted him a little less than I usually would since he is a bit bigger, I didn't want him to be too heavy, but I am happy to add weight.
I use only the finest materials, and pay great attention to every detail. His utra realistic skin tones were formed using many layers of Genesis Heat Set paints, including veining, mottling, and tiny capillaries.
I took many close up photos of him, I love taking close up pictures so you can see the details of the baby doll you are getting. My photos are always taken in natural lighting with no editing done to them, they accurately represent him.
His head is weighted so that you must support it like a real baby. He is accurately weighted with fine glass beads and filled with premium super soft polyfil. I do not skimp anywhere during the creation of these dolls. He feels like you're holding a real baby, you won't want to put him down! He is newborn size and fits into newborn clothing.
His hair is a combination of prismacolor and paint, along with his delicately painted eyebrows. I love doing painted hair on these dolls, it is 100% mess and worry free, no matter how many times you want to put a hat on the little head, and it will never rub off or fade. It is painted in a realistic newborn hair pattern and looks like real hair!
He has eyelashes micro rooted with high quality Slumberland mohair, sealed from the inside. He has been finished with a mixture I use to give the skin a pretty glow and as an extra layer of protection for permanence, and glossed in all the right places. I use a blend of matte and satin varnishes, only Genesis brands, which gives a texture to the "skin" in some areas, but it is necessary for protection, and for extra realism for the look of baby skin.
He has full limbs attached to a high quality, durable faux doe suede body.
He will come home to you with layette purchased just for him: all outfits pictured, magnetic pacifier, blanket, and newborn sized diaper.
My home is completely smoke free, we have one hypoallergenic poodle who is a beloved member of our family but she does not go in my studio area.
