Cleo is a limited edition doll kit. Listed for sale is this precious reborn baby doll, Cleo sculpted by Severine Piret. Cleo is a small little preemie baby. He is an absolute joy to hold and cuddle. He poses so adorably and with ease. He has full length limbs and a cloth torso. I have spent many hours creating this realistic little man. I am very proud of the final result. Height and weight are close approximates.
I have used only genesis heat set paint on Cleo. He has been given a newborn mottled look complexion. I have given the doll multiple layers of skin tones, shaded creases and wrinkles, given him blue undertones in areas where the babies skin would be thinner. I gave him tiny broken capillaries on here eyelids and cheeks. He is petite and weighs 5 pounds. He has full limbs attached to an unjointed cloth body. His head and limbs can be carefully turned for posing. He is weighted with fine glass beads and fiber fill. He feels amazing real and cuddly.
I opted to paint the hair on Cleo. On a tiny newborn I love the slightly balding look. It is a full head of head with some balding areas. It has taken me hours in my nursery to obtain the final look of babies painted hair. It is still wispy enough that his little scalp shows through. A painted head of hair is perfect for someone who does not want to fuss with mohair. The eyelashes are securely glued but always use care when putting clothing over his head.
Cleo is wearing mostly preemie size clothing and can wear newborn size if small. He is extremely cuddly I do recommend supporting his head when picking up. Please be aware that my doll is not meant to be a play toy for a small child. It should be handled carefully. My baby doll can stay beautiful for years to come with proper care. Please use care if you have pets that like to chew as the limbs contain fine glass beads.
The doll's eyebrows have been delicately painted and he was given a baby look manicure on his toe and fingernail tips. Please be aware I do NOT ACCEPT RETURNS on my dolls. I did not give the doll any magnets. His layette will come with the clothing he is seen wearing, a receiving blanket that he will be wrapped in, an extra pamper, his Certificate of Authenticity, and a care sheet with my personal recommendations for keeping him pristine. No other items or props will be included (I normally do send along a little extra outfit of my choosing.)
