Welcome Reborn baby Leah! born 2/13, weighing 4.38lbs, and approx 19” long, with bent legs.
She has full vinyl limbs on a flesh colored cloth body. Leah has been painted very deeply, with a just born reddish newborn painting style. She could possibly look biracial, but I couldn’t choose both categories. So, however you see her, it how she is! She is painted with deep undertones and colors. She has fine details which include-subtle veins, capilaries, shading, mottling, baby scratches, millia, lanugo, and baby acne and blemishes, appearing on her translucently painted skin with numerous layers. She has beautifully painted hair in darker brown shades, and rooted brown lashes. Her lashes have been sealed inside the head.
Her face has a light texture to give the appearance of pores/real skin. Baby looks adorable as a boy or a girl. Baby also has a strong magnet in her head for a magnetic pacifier.
No detail has been overlooked! She was painted with heat set paints, and a heat set matte varnish was used. A heat set satin varnish was used on her hair, to add to the realism. She is weighted and her head/body flops like a real baby-please support her head and limbs. I use a mixture of weighting materials and premium and luxury pollyfill to give my babies their unique feel. She is weighted with a nice floppiness.
She has rings on her neck and limbs for easy turning. Her limbs and head are vinyl. [not silicone]. I photograph using natural light, in different settings, with my Cannon Rebel.
