Please welcome to my nursery precious, little Ana!🥰 Ana is a Realborn®, a replica of a real baby from Bountiful Baby. She was created from 3D scans of a real baby. I can't help but smile when I look at her, I think it's because of her name!😉
Ana has been brought to life with many layers of Acrylic paint and sealed twice with a matte varnish. I used a new sponge technique to give the appearance of real skin pores. Because of this, there is a little bit more of a texture than I normally get with this varnish. I have painted her with many details including soft veining and mottling, small capillaries, baby "blemishes" on her cheek and elbow, a small baby "scratch" on her cheek, tipped fingernails and toenails, and a bit of "moisture" added to her lips, ears, nostrils, and corners of her eyes. She has painted black hair and eyebrows, and rooted dark brown eyelashes. Ana has a biracial premium gathered cloth body. She is weighted to feel as if you are holding a real baby and you will need to support her head.
Ana will be sent home in the onesie and headband in the photos plus two more outfits, a magnetic pacifier, 2 diapers, and a baby-scented wafer placed in his diaper. She will also be wrapped in a blanket along with care info. and a birth certificate.
